While waiting for components of my companion cube to dry I started making a panda. It takes a little longer than the cube as it’s abit more complex but if you want to know how to make one, heres how I made mine.
I first made the arms and legs, I find it easier to make the arms and legs first, so I can make a body that fits them. I rolled up newpaper into the limbs and used masking tape to secure them. I then Papier-mâchéd them.

I then attached them to the body, which I made from a ball of newspaper, I slowly built up layers to make a fat belly and a slimmer neck.

I then made a head out of another ball of newspapers, and used toilet paper to make the ears and nose shape

I then glued all my pieces together apart from the head, which I painted first then stuck on.

If you want you could make a little bamboo stick, Using a small wooden stick and some newspaper leaves

Then paint your panda black and white! ( remember to paint the bamboo stick too!)

And there you have it, a cute little Papier-mâché panda :)
